The construction industry has reached a major milestone: after a long socialisation process, the Construction Investment Costing System (\u00c9KTR) developed by Sp\u00e1nyi Partners’ colleagues will be officially adopted by the end of 2024, with the approval of the Technical Regulation Committee for Construction.<\/p>\n

This is great news for the industry, as cost planning has been unregulated for decades. The \u00c9KTR now provides a transparent, uniform framework that will make cost planning easier and more accurate.<\/p>\n

The \u00c9KTR also made the front cover of the December issue of the Engineering Journal, in an interview in which we discussed the current state of the system and our plans for the future. One of our most exciting developments is that we are building our own database and analytics system using artificial intelligence to make our cost planning processes even more efficient.<\/p>\n

The \u00c9KTR is available on the official \u00c9MI (Technical Guidelines for Construction) platform and can also be downloaded from our website so that anyone can use it freely.<\/p>\n
